Dr. Michael-Jon Rodney, Principal

After graduating with his undergraduate degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2004, Dr. Rodney moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia to teach social studies at Matoaca High School in Chesterfield County, where he taught various social studies and career & technical education classes.  During his 9 years at Moataca High School, in addition to teaching, Dr. Rodney also sponsored the Model UN club and coached the Lady Warriors Field Hockey team.  In 2007, while serving as a classroom teacher, he earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Averett University. Also, he earned a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014.

In 2014, Dr. Rodney was hired as an administrator at Providence Middle School. Between 2014 and 2020, he served in various administrative capacities at PVMS, including Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Associate Principal. In 2020, Dr. Rodney became the Principal of Providence Middle School.  In 2025, Dr. Rodney graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership.

When he is not at school, you can find Dr. Rodney reading a good book, spending time with his wife and daughter, or volunteering with various community organizations.

Dr. Rodney is honored to serve the Providence Middle School community.  Go Rams!

Sandra Judge-Harden, Associate Principal

Mrs. Judge-Harden joined Chesterfield County Public Schools in May of 2005, as a substitute teacher at Providence Middle School. As a career switcher, in August of 2005, she started as a special education teacher under a 3 year provisional teaching license. In August of 2008, she received her 5 year teaching license. As of May 2015, Mrs. Judge-Harden earned a M. Ed. in Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Richmond. She is the 2017 Teacher of the Year for Providence Middle School.

Dr. LeKiesha White, Assistant Principal

LeKiesha (Kiesha) White received her Bachelor of Science at Saint Augustine’s University, her Masters in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Richmond and earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. White has served the Providence Middle School Community in both the Dean of Students position and as Assistant Principal. Before joining the Ram Family Dr. White taught Biology, AP Environmental Science, and AP Biology for five years at Meadowbrook High School and served as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Clover Hill High School.

Angela Bucek, Dean of Students

Angela Bucek is excited and honored to begin serving the Providence Middle School community as Dean of Students!  Entering her seventh school year as a proud PVMS Ram, Ms. Bucek remains dedicated to collaborating with our PVMS school community to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.  

Ms. Bucek holds a rich academic background. She earned her Post-Master's Certificate in Educational Leadership from James Madison University in 2024. She also holds dual Master's Degrees in Special Education and Music Education from Liberty University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Marshall University where she studied trumpet performance.

During her years at PVMS, Ms. Bucek has served the PVMS community in multiple capacities, including roles as a special education teacher, a general education math teacher, and Summer Planning Coordinator.  She has also provided instructional leadership across the district as the CCPS Instructional Coordinator for Summer Programs and as a middle school math curriculum writer. Prior to joining the district, Ms. Bucek was a K-12 general education music teacher at a non-profit private school dedicated to students with exceptional needs. 

In her free time, Ms. Bucek enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring community parks, and finding the nearest pickleball court for a little friendly competition!
